Men's Meet Up goes to Westgarthtown
An afternoon at the Westgarthtown Pioneer Precinct in Thomastown — the 1851 farmhouse, the 1856 church and the old cemetery.
Our Men’s Meet Up group spent a fantastic afternoon together with a visit to the Westgarthtown Pioneer Precinct in Thomastown.
They explored the heritage-listed bluestone Ziebell Farmhouse, built in 1851, wandered through the historic gardens, and visited Australia’s oldest Lutheran church, from 1856, along with the 1850 cemetery. A genuinely fascinating glimpse into local history.
What made the day even better was the sense of connection — existing members and new faces both came along, and the group car-pooled so that everyone could get there. A real team effort.
There were plenty of good conversations, laughs and shared experiences. It’s wonderful to see this group growing, and Shannon’s commitment to creating a supportive, welcoming space is making a real difference.
